Desolation Wilderness

Permits for the Desolation Wilderness are available from:

Hours: The Desolation Wilderness Office is open 8:00am – 4:30pm seven days a week in the summer season, and the same hours Mon. through Fri. during the winter season.

Wrights Lake Information Station

Wrights Lake Information Station is not open yet. Information will be posted at the start of the 2024 season.

This Station is located in the Wrights Lake Campground 8 miles north of Highway 50 on Wrights Lake Road
