Off Road Vehicles

The Eldorado National Forest offers a variety of trail riding experiences providing opportunities for exploring and camping beyond developed areas.  The Rubicon for four-wheeling is one of the best in the United States.  The Gold Note Trails system offers recreation for motorcycles and ATVs.

To protect the Forest, motorized travel off designated roads and trails is prohibited.  Motorized Vehicle Use Maps as well as camping and riding guides are available at all Forest Services Offices and Information Stations.
